Middle Kids – ‘Lost Friends’

Our feature album this week is from Sydney-trio The Middle Kids with their debut-album ‘Lost Friends’

The Sydney pop group burst onto the scene back in 2016 with the release of their first single Edge of Town on triple j Unearthed.

Consisting of members Hannah Joy, Tim Fitz and Harry Day, the group has found themselves receiving success after success. Beginning with none other than Elton John airing their single Edge of Town on his Beats 1 Radio Show in 2016. On top of this, they won FBi Radio’s Northern Lights Competition, which earned them a spot on the bill at the Iceland Airwaves Music Festival in Reykjavik in 2016.

Since releasing their self-titled six-track EP in 2017, Middle Kids released their highly anticipated debut-album ‘Lost Friends’ in May 2018.

The album is nothing other than a journey of beautifully crafted and composed works of music. Tracks flow from indie rock songs, to full on pop ballads.
The album also allows space for more down-tempo tracks where Hannah’s vocals truly shine.

Featured Tracks: Edge of Town, Maryland, Hole and Tell Me Something
