Songs of the Week (05.04.2019)

This week in music kick-started what looks to be an exciting month for music; including new releases from Weyes Blood, I Know Leopard, Taj Ralph and more!

Multi-instrumentalist Natalie Mering came out this week to share with us her exceptional new album; Titantic Rising. An amazing record from start to finish, (and arguably one of my favourites releases of the year) the album features some beautiful performances and compositions; flowing perfectly in and out of each song. Fans of Aldous Harding and Father John Misty should definitely check this out.

Another notable release from the week was I Know Leopard dropping their debut-album; Love Is A Landmine. Inspired by 80’s psychedelic synth-pop, the album is a wonderful debut from one Sydney’s most exciting emerging talents. On top of this, Taj Ralph teamed up with producer Lucianblomkamp to bring us his banging new tune Kill The Mood.
