This follows a previous special in November on the occasion of Frank Ifield’s 80th birthday. Frank’s career began at the age of 12 in 1950 when he was a winner on 2GB’s Australia’s Amateur Hour. He was only 15 when he made his first recordings for EMI in 1953. In the early 1960s, then based in the UK, Frank achieved rare international success when he had three records in succession which topped the UK charts. Frank talks about his long and very successful career and about other artists he has worked with.
