"Instant Karma" is a place to hear the music of The Beatles & their Solo Careers (Tuesdays 9pm Sydney time). I've been fortunate enough to visit (and wander through) the UK National Trust owned original Liverpool homes of John Lennon (251 Menlove Ave) & Paul McCartney (20 Forthlin Rd) and also visited George Harrison's home (25 Upton Green). I've also been to, and been incredibly lucky to sing on stage with the house band) at, the Cavern Club Liverpool and done a tour of the Casbah Coffee Club, Hayman's Green (hosted by Pete Best's brother Roag) where John, Paul and George first played (regularly) from 1959, prior to ever playing at The Cavern. I've been lucky enough to visit other famous Beatles' landmarks, Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, London's Abbey Road Studios and other places of interest. My first recollection of The Beatles was, as a 6 year old, receiving the single "Twist and Shout" in 1964 and soon after, seeing the movie "A Hard Day's Night"... and then they visited Sydney !
I've had a couple of "brushes with fame" Meeting Julian Lennon. Also attending a seminar hosted by Beatles' recording engineers Geoff Emerick (who won a Grammy for Sgt Pepper's) and Richard Lush and meeting them both afterwards.
But hey...at the end of the day, I'm just a Beatles' fan like you !
